  • Electric cars suck. Democrats forcing people to buy them when nobody wants them. Lets burn fossil fuel it's a free country. Corrupt Biden can go to China with crack head Hunter.

  • "V8's not built to last" F*ck you i have 50 year old plymouth in my driveway and still kicking and tearing roads. Hell it will atract more ass than your battery powered wibrator with wheels, show me any battery powered caar that's 50 years old from now and see how much original car is left if any, since they especially are NOT made to last, cheap plastic and for the average joe here in finland waaaayyy too expencive.

  • There is nothing cool about electric cars.. Gear heads do not own electric cars.. Racing and beating someone with your electric Tesla does not earn you any respect.. We get it electric cars are fast.. But electric cars have no sole and never will. Electric cars are a completely different class of cars.. Never compare your geek squad class of cars to the great internal combustion cars...

  • Too many moving parts in an ICE car. Too much required maintenance. Electric cars are the way to go. Good decision.

  • One day when they do move to all electric vehicles, ill convert my 99 contour into an electric car to fit in lol

  • How much did they pay you Hoovie?

  • I bet Tyler believes in man made climate change fantasy.

  • Them coyotes are amazing.

  • Its so stupid. Imagine a natural disaster. Cant charge the car! solar panels, riight

  • Roush is cool. Order it any way you want. Screw electric.

  • I have one word of advice to Ford regarding their idea for an electric pickup truck and electric Mustang. DON'T!!!!!!!!!

  • I would understand the e-mustang in normal mustang body style. But not in a streched euro puma.

  • Ford was tired of getting their flag ship sports cars smoked by tesla family sedans and SUVs

  • BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BOTH THUMBS DOWN!!!!

  • Oh fuck.......the United States is headed straight toward idiocracy,we will be exactly like the goddamn movie,Mike Judge is a fucking genius. He has written the best documentary of our time.🤦🏻‍♂️😯Electric cars are fucking scam, sheep need to learn to say no.

  • You want a manly vehicle try a 1980s 2 1/2 ton truck. Total manual steering, which means you have to have the Rocks arms. :)

  • I’m sure people will buy the new E-stang, but I think it’s blasphemy

  • You wanna see an electric Mustang? Check out this baby: hrdown.info/block/video/02qujaWBat2udaM

  • Really Hoovies??? Electric cars are the future?? When, DJT was in the WH gas was the cheapest it had been in 10 plus year's....If the pipeline would've been completed and opened, they were estimating that it would've been even cheaper like 20 plus year's ago!! If you were a true car guy or gear head no way you would have made that ignorant statement about electric cars are the future!!

  • I would not have believed hoovie would sell out to EV's. Scotty kilmer the same. In decades time when i am very old i will be laughing at the young ones driving EV cars and say i remember when cars were cars with big V8's etc haha.

    • He still wants the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

  • Only electric mustang. Great way to kill it off and drive up the prices of older mustangs.

  • The whole crossover vibe of the not mustang offends me. It gives me diabetes just by looking at it. Electric cars do not excite me at all in general and they all look just sooooo boring like a half finished 3d model

  • I wish Camaro and Mustang would not be a ev in future I have a dream to buy those when I would grow up plz God plz.

  • Seems like someone paid hoovie to push electric.

  • Just waiting for the EV used prices to come down to my budget and I will have one

    • @everrybody only parts...repair everything myself. Those parts are getting cheaper

    • Used EV?! are you looking for massive repair bills?! batteries go bad. Teslas batteries are over 10k

  • I wonder, at my age nothing sounds better than a V-8, (or more) younger generations like the sound of 4 cylinders, will the next generation like the sound of electric motor whine?

  • You should be salty!!!

    • We should all be salty, on electric cars

  • Not sure fact is you’ve got 10, may be 15 years left before a generational electric revolution takes place when combustion cars will become worthless as they are legislated against, and petrol and servicing diminishes. I wouldn’t invest too much in combustion cars.

  • I’m not very excited for existing car companies making electrics, tesla already has the beat. Ford and gm will be making cheap crappy versions😐

  • RIP Mustang.

  • power grid is an issue your not fixing the pollution issue due to fossil fuels being used to generate a majority of our power. THe other is charge time and distance are still a thing as the power grid cant support the load.

  • Wow, lots of boomers in the comment section. Be aware!

  • **starts hyperventilating**

  • 1000 Hp Mustang would be fine, if it had some help through the front wheels. When electric goes mainstream, access to fuels will be the determining factor, not whether your classic still runs.

  • I wouldn't buy a Mustang if I was paid to - past or present and probably future. Despite the fact, Ford said they plan to be all electric by 2035. Whether EVs "excite" you or not, it's obvious you're young and will likely end up being required to own/drive at least one EV in your lifetime. It has been estimated that by 2030 all new vehicles will be EVs (Ford seems to have missed this memo) and by 2050 ICE vehicles will be illegal.

  • Excellent video Hoov! You are spot on. As painful as it is ,this is the direction we are headed. But as Jay Leno has said, think of internal combustion engine cars as what horses were in the early 1900s. Eventually they were not relied upon for day to day use but became a hobby, something revered and something that people enjoy on the weekends. Something to keep our soles alive. This is what will happen with our beloved cars. Plus the air will be so clean, you will really get to smell the gasoline!!

  • Anyone who is a car guy will never buy an all electric sports car. The fun is being able to drive the hell out of it , then gas it up and do it again. Not wait 4 hours for a recharge. I will personally never own an all electric car if I can help it.

    • Doesn't take 4 hours at a DC charger. Takes about 20 minutes to 80%

  • Still sad Hoovie....😪🚗🚗😪

  • I feel like a virgin with any electric car I drive..

  • All these manufacturers pushing a full move to EV's seem to have forgotten about the horrible electric infrastructure we have in North America. Where I live, specifically, there is barely enough electrical generation to power everyone's air conditioner during the summer during a heat wave... What's going to happen to the electrical grid when every house is plugging in one, two, maybe even three or more EV's every night, with each drawing between 5 and 7KW on average? If every major manufacturer switches to EV's, this demand will only increase exponentially. Sure will be interesting to see how this plays out....Either way, I'll be driving my supercharged liquid dinosaur and rubber burner until they pry it from my cold, dead hands.

  • I’m also gonna miss manual transmissions 😪

  • It almost sounds like Ford paid you to pitch this hoovie. I was kinda expecting more on your 66 than a electric vs gas debate and so forth. This was a downer

  • 7:26 Who would have thought this scene was a BIG foreshadowing of a MINI mistake?

  • Sad but true...once you go electric gas is just slow and unreliable. Can't wait to mod a mach-E

  • You should meet Cleetus

  • Liberals and environmentalists have succeeded in ruining vehicles going forward. Despite the numbers, they don't like facts, showing even if every American drove a hippie car the effect on the environment is negligible. Regardless whenever the left and hippies find some cause, no matter how incorrect or lack of fact based they are, the feelings override everything. Plastic straws, internal combustion engines, plastic bags, who knows what they're target next. It's a slippery slope and it's a shame they're taking down the automobile industry as we once knew it.

    • Elon Musk is an independent and he is not an environmentalist.

  • Mach E does not offend me, calling it Mustang however - I AM OFFENDED!!!

  • Tribute means fake, some are nicer than others of course This one looks like a nice restomod though, I wouldn't call it a tribute to anything

  • Is that your "new" Mini in the dealer's lot at 7:25?

  • I love this car hoov one of my favorites u have brother 💯❗❗❗

  • Cars I'll refuse to buy..... anything electric. You sounding as if it's all "inevitable" wreaks of you being paid for doing this bullshit video Hoovie. There's enough lame " PC " videos and articles all over the net to make the average person want to vomit. Unsubscribing. You're a sellout.

  • Why is every single automotive channel talking about electric vehicles this week?? What's going on behind the scenes? That electric car companies would eventually acquire automotive channels' opinions, everyone knew. But In the same week? Globalists used to be more subtle.. lol

    • And you can stay broke because you don't own any stocks in these companies LOL. Just keep babbling about globalists. Do something constructive.

  • Big oil companies will have something to say about that...

    • @alliwantedwasapepsi You're right. The oil companies will give up on oil and stop buying politicians...

    • They're already diversifying away from oil. [B]eyond [P]etroleum.

  • Ive got a 2004 Opel Corsa that has electric power steering so it is not a new thing.

  • To be fair, you're reviewing a Ford.... their transmissions suck ass!

  • If the market is ga ga over electric 9 years from now you can’t start working on that 7 years from now. They will not stop on gas engines and already have gas engines under their belt and factories exist to make them. If the demand remains for gasoline fueled power there will be plenty of them.

  • Timothy Robbins said it best in the beginning of "Mission to Mars": Internal combustion. There is no substitute! I'll be sitting in the sidelines awaiting the environmental catastrophe that eventually ensues from mining, processing & disposing of all these heavy metals used by battery manufacturers. Interesting to see how they're all getting a free pass while all other industry is constantly in the crosshairs.

  • For more V8 power you'd have to have a all wheel drive Mustang wie AUDI

  • The combustion engine IS dead. .Anyone that has driven an EV will tell you that and not just the Tesla drivers. .The acceleration and efficiency is just so much better than pistons can ever do . Classic Petrol/diesel cars will become like horses. . Toys for the rich.

  • while I love you HOovie, you truly are the dumbest channel. 600, 700, 800 hp.. they can't do more than that. What do you think electric motor sort of torque and acceleration will yield? the equivalent of 1600-1900, V8, SHP. They would be most wise to put a large electric motor up front in the engine compartment and drive shaft it to rear wheels all the same. roast those wheels. but I suspect they will go AWD motors and it's never going to be a "mustang" ever again.

  • that is absolutely NOT cooler than the 66 Mustang. It's otherwise indistinguishable from a conventional GT, and the black wheels, makes me dismiss it as a cheap kid mod mustang. I literally don't care whatsoever what it's numbers are, it's not cool. just a ford mustang with big numbers. whatever.

  • Guys keep calm we don't have enough materials to have only elettronic cars for everyone so why should they do that on this types of cars? The future is not electric, the future is that only who really need one will have a car

  • Lack of modding or tuning an electric vehicle takes much fun out of owning a performance vehicle.

  • Gas car on road trip is fun. Electric car waiting for a recharge is less fun.

  • I would always buy a V8 if it was an option, but an electric would be pretty fun with all that immediate torque on demand.

  • The most annoying thing with ICE is the constant maintenance required. Besides the regular oil changes, the manufacturer wants $2000 every 20,000 miles. When you drive 100,000 miles every 1.5 years, it adds up fast. For road trips I want something fast and nimble. If it's quiet and I can enjoy the radio without hearing exhaust or Ford's shit fake exhaust, so much better.

  • Would he faint driving a new Vette? Don't they have almost a hundred horses more?

  • The whole point of electric is not that it will save the environment. It will save the dealers from having business taken by 3rd party shops, and not knowing where you are at all times. It's just another bloated tracking device with a foundation of fraudulent good will, that you MUST take to the dealer. They should point is to keep the poor from moving around where they want. Most people won't be able to afford to maintain such vehicles. There is a SERIOUS effort to keep the middle and lower classes in cities packed with tracking, advertisement, no privacy, and no ownership.

  • As a car enthusiast myself, I have to get this off my chest. If Ford plans to keep the Mustang body type (RWD sports coupe) that we know and love, only in electric form, I agree 100% with Ford's decision. Whether this decision is based on environmental regulations or not, like Elon Musk said, there are two futures, and in neither of those will we forever use fossil fuels. The ressource is FINITE. Whether it's in 2030 or 2050, one day, one way, car enthusiasts will have to abandon the V8 cult. One day, gasoline won't be affordable, and it won't matter how much you paid for your car. Muscle cars were always about cheap straight-line acceleration, and electric cars are already better at this than the good old V8. RIP engine sound, or at least genuine sounds from real explosions. We'll get used to it and learn to appreciate what EVs can bring to the car enthusiast. EV technology will continue to develop along the way and improve all the other quirks people dislike with EVs, like price, range, weight, long-term durability and charging speed. Car enthusiasts must embrace EVs and find ways to inject passion in them, instead of rejecting them and have nothing to enjoy once gasoline is gone. Oh, and used gasoline cars will always be a thing. I think we just should be grateful we'll still have this next decade to enjoy a brand-new V8 Mustang, and that Ford will keep the Mustang coupe relevant in the coming EV age.

  • Electric don’t work in the cold up in northern Canada. Well it works but the range drops to nothing useable.

  • I thought I saw your new Mini at 7:25 but it is another one, omg, there arw two of them, lol.

  • Tyler **has an opportunity to actually profit off a car** Tyler: *n o*

  • I don’t think ford will do that

  • They can go electric, but it should be without the Mustang brand. Just make a new Mach-E brand.

  • Bro go to tjhunt

  • Wtf noooo

  • Hoovie, Are you nuts? You realize that your channel won’t exist in its present form when all you have to talk about is electric vehicles, right? Why are you becoming an instrument of your own demise by advocating for such an undesirable (and unnecessary) shift to EVs like this?

  • Electric mustang..... no one will by it.

  • Hate what politicians have done to the auto industry by forcing manufacturers to push the electric car BS upon us car guys.

  • Mustang's nowadays resembling a Dodge or a Taurus have for some time. Front fascia, body styling. Pity.

  • I hope any car company goin electric goes belly up hahaha! I'm 34 years old and my newest car was built in 1971....and I daily drive them. Never bought a new car and never will....new cars are horrible for the environment anyways.

    • @Monte SS My grandpa had a steam powered tractor that was over 100 years old. He would bring it to tractor pulls and it out towed souped up diesel john deer tractors. Steam, like electric are some of the torquiest engines ever made, but you're right. Markets are king, and regulations have unintended consequences. The markets will eventually go electric for all the reasons ive listed, the technology has come a long way in the last decade and it's still very new. Elons first roadster only had a hundred mile battery, (less if you were hard on it) and a 0-60 in like 6 seconds, comparing that to the next gen roadster is like comparing a Model T to a Demon

    • @TheFreePantheist honestly I have nothing against electric cars, especially for certain situations. But what makes me dislike them is the push for them. Let markets decide, not feds forcing it, cause for my situation the internal combustion engine is just a way of life and works so good for me. I'm often driving long distances and not eager to sit hours waiting on refills. Especially when goin camping in the middle of nowhere... I can carry extra gas, hard to do that with electric cars unless you carry a gas generator and still need to carry gas lol. Just lots of problems with electric for alot of people. But if you live in city and stay local, electric is ideal. The steam car was phased out by the internal combustion engine because the people liked the simplicity of it vs steam. So if electric cars are the way...let people decide, not regulations to push it onto us.

    • @Monte SS Not everyone has the equipment, time and experience to custom build and tune a crate engine. How much did you spend on all those tools? how bout all those man hours? All the upgrades needed to put that power down? More than 12k I bet.. I get it, it's fun, but it's not lifestyle everyone can emulate. I saw a guy put a synthetic exaust system on a tesla if that's your thing. He could change it to sound like a Ferrari, corvette, lambo whatever you want. It was pretty convincing too, not quite as loud as the real thing but I bet they could make it indistinguishable with a more powerful speaker Another problem is efficiency I drive in a very mountainous area I waste a ton of gas going up hills and a ton of breaks going down them. A tesla converts the motors into generators when you take your foot off the gas. It slows you down and dumps power back in the batteries Saving energy AND breaks. The 1,000lb battery only has the energy density of about 3 gallons of gas, but teslas are so efficient, (and gas is so inefficient) that they can get 320 miles out of the equivalent of just 3 gallons. Not only are they quick off the lot, but they get 3x better "gas" mileage than a prius

    • @TheFreePantheist and for the record fastest tesla in the world did 10.4 but it was a gutted shell. And my 1970 monte does low 10's and it is all complete with ac, etc.... and only spent 12k to go that fast. Crate engine from blueprint... look into them.

    • @TheFreePantheist hey if they ever do catch up to my levels.... still don't matter, I prefer sounds and experience of internal combustion engines. It is not just about performance lol.

  • there is gas cars with double the horsepower and can do over 200 mph so no your wrong

  • Electric cars simpler? You for real?? You honestly believe what you have just said?

  • Are Voodoos actually unreliable?

  • People are so effing dumb. Everyone is praising electric cars and not one single idiot tells you that there is JUST NO CAPACITY in production of electricity for everyone to drive electric cars. People are just dumb as nails.

  • Shove your electric propaganda where the sun don't shine. Seya

  • I have great respect for Hoovie, but this move to electric is not all it's cracked up to be.

  • Cars have to get lighter and lighter. That to add that extra power

  • Electric cars 👎 well boys we’re in the endgame now

  • Electric = no manual transmission. :(

  • One day we will have no more Mustang V8s roaring down the highway/dragstrip.

  • The problem will come when government incentivizes everyone to go electric with another cash for clunkers deal, and eventually mandates all road going vehicles to be electric/self driven. Then all these ICE vehicles will be paperweights except for off-road use.

  • The Mustang Mach-E was underwhelming to say the least. Just like anything Ford has put out since the 80s.

  • When you going to buy an electric then Hoovie ?

  • Will I say b4 anyone gets all excited, research look up all the chemicals needed to make those battery's and the fact you have to waste 500,000 gallons water for a ton, that you can't recycle! To mine just one part! And the child labor that isn't living over there 30s from mining other parts.. it's NOT A SOULATION ITS ANOTHER WORSE PROBLEM and will be EXTREMELY worse on are our environment! Not to mention the recycling can't do...

  • Maybe once their sales tank, car manufacturers will realize that everybody doesn’t want an electric sports car, instead of one that can knock all the paintings off the wall of an old ladies house with a single rev.

  • All electric mustang by 2030? That would be Ford's biggest mistake yet. They are forgetting what makes a mustang a mustang.

  • Have fun with your electric or modern car when its 20yo... You will get no spare parts for the electronics and have to change the battery. This is NOT the way! (Numbers are impressive but no EV can hold 250km/h for a long time...even 0-100 is getting slow after a few times of reaching it...and not everybody has the place to load it at home) Coal fired powerplants are are our problem, not cars.

  • I’m a die hard mustang fan boy

  • Lovely car. Would’ve preferred matt black, but then I prefer every car in black.
